Overview

This guide explains how to install UrbanPlus: World Reimagined for:

  • FiveM

  • RageMP

  • GTA V Story Mode

Follow only the section for your platform. Do not mix files between platforms.

FiveM Installation

Step 1 — Install the Resource

  1. Open the downloaded UrbanPlus archive.

  2. Locate the folder named:

[UrbanPlus]

  1. Drag and drop this entire folder into your server’s resources directory.

Example: resources/[UrbanPlus]/

The folder name must remain unchanged.

Step 2 — Enable the Resource

  1. Open your server.cfg.

  2. Add the following line:

ensure [UrbanPlus]

  1. Save the file.

This ensures UrbanPlus loads automatically when the server starts.

Step 3 — Installing Addons

UrbanPlus supports additional map and prop addons.

  1. Open the UrbanPlus resource folder.

  2. Navigate to the stream directory.

  3. Drag and drop addon files into the stream folder.

Example path: resources/[UrbanPlus]/smdv-UrbanPlus/stream/

Once placed, addons will automatically load when the resource is ensured.

FiveM Notes

  • Do not rename the UrbanPlus folder.

  • Do not place addons outside the stream directory.

  • Restart the server after installing or modifying files.

  • If objects do not appear, verify the resource is started and no other map overlaps the same area.

RageMP Installation

Installation Steps

  1. Open the UrbanPlus download archive.

  2. Locate the folder named:

client_packages

  1. Drag and drop the entire client_packages folder into your RageMP server root directory.

Example: ragemp-server/client_packages/

  1. Allow files to merge if prompted.

  2. Restart the server.

RageMP Notes

  • No server-side configuration is required.

  • Changes apply after a server restart.

  • Not all UrbanPlus addons are compatible with RageMP.

  • Only addons specifically marked as RageMP-safe should be used.

Story Mode Installation

UrbanPlus loads as a custom DLC for GTA V Story Mode.

Step 1 — Main Mod Files

  1. Open the Main Mod folder from the downloaded archive.

  2. Drag and drop all contents into your Grand Theft Auto V main directory.

Example: Grand Theft Auto V\

Step 2 — AI Node Files

AI nodes are required for correct traffic and pedestrian routing.

  1. Open the Nodes folder.

  2. Open the New folder inside it.

  3. Copy all .ynd files to:

mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\paths.rpf\

Step 3 — DLC Activation

  1. Navigate to:

mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml

  1. Open the file in Edit Mode using OpenIV.

  2. Add the following line at the bottom of the list:

<Item>dlcpacks:/urbanplus/</Item>

  1. Save the file.

This step is required for the mod to load.

Optional Files Installation (Story Mode)

Step 1 — Access Optionals

  1. Open the Optionals folder from the download archive.

Step 2 — Install Optional Files

  1. Choose the optional files you want to use.

  2. Place them into:

mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\urbanplus\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5_citye\maps\urbanplus.rpf\

Replace files only if prompted.

Story Mode Notes

  • Optional files are not required for the mod to function.

  • Install only one version of the same optional at a time.

  • Not all addons are compatible with Story Mode.

  • Restart the game after making any changes.

  • Not all addons work on all platforms.

  • Some addons are FiveM-only.

  • Some may not function correctly in RageMP or Story Mode.

  • Always use addons intended for your platform.

Final Notes

  • Each platform uses a different loading system.

  • Never mix FiveM, RageMP, and Story Mode files together.

  • Always install the version designed for your platform only.
